Interior Ministry: Driver Arrested for Recklessness and Carelessness in Jahra Stables, Sent to Central Prison, Vehicle Impounded

The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Security Control Department, apprehended a vehicle driver for reckless and careless driving in the Jahra Istiblat area after he hid the vehicle inside one of the stables.

The arrest followed a report to the operations room about a driver engaging in reckless and careless behavior. Security Control Department patrols launched search and investigation operations that led to locating the vehicle inside one of the stables. Coordination was then established with the Public Authority for Youth and Sports, the vehicle was seized, and the driver’s identity was identified and he was arrested later.

During questioning, the driver admitted to the alleged offenses. He was referred to the Central Prison, and the vehicle was impounded following its confiscation in accordance with Article 33 bis of the Traffic Law.

The General Directorate of Traffic warns against reckless and careless driving, emphasizing that endangering the lives of others will be met with strict enforcement of the law. Surveillance and enforcement operations remain ongoing to hold accountable anyone who tampers with road safety and the security of its users.
