Central Agency and University Discuss Cooperation on Academic and Regulatory Aspects of 'Illegal Residents'

The head of the Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents, Saleh Al-Fadala, held talks with a delegation from Kuwait University, led by the Acting Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Noura Al-Suwaihi, on a number of issues related to illegal residents, particularly shared academic and regulatory aspects.

In a press statement, the agency said that during the meeting, a coordination session was held under the chairmanship of the Acting Secretary-General of the Agency, legal expert Dr. Sharif Al-Kandari, with the attendance of Assistant Secretaries-General and several agency officials, as well as the visiting academic delegation.

The statement noted that the meeting underscored the importance of continuing coordination and mutual cooperation, as well as the complementarity of roles between the two entities, in order to serve the public interest and facilitate procedures and develop mechanisms for joint work.

It added that an introductory visual presentation was delivered, outlining the efforts of the Central Agency and the facilitations and services provided, followed by discussions and deliberations on various shared topics.
