Kuwait officials have directed educational administrations to prepare for implementing remote teaching sessions via the “Microsoft Teams” platform, as part of the Ministry’s strategy to enhance the use of digital transformation tools in the educational process and to train students to interact with e-learning.
The Ministry set Saturday, the 24th of the current month, at 10:00 a.m. for one hour to conduct these educational sessions through the platform, in accordance with the approved schedules attached to the Ministry’s directives. These instructions covered schools affiliated with educational zones, religious education, and special education.
Deputy Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, Eng. Hamad Al-Hamad, issued a letter to the Director General of the General Administration of Educational Zones and the Director General of the General Administration of Religious Education and Special Education, emphasizing the necessity of preparing students and enabling them to access the “Microsoft Teams” platform and attend the scheduled sessions, thereby ensuring the desired educational benefits are achieved.
It is worth noting that the Ministry regards the platform as one of the key tools in the digital transformation journey, given its capacity to organize virtual sessions and enhance communication between teachers and learners, thus supporting the continuity of the educational process and improving its efficiency.
The Ministry’s directives also included assigning grades to students based on their participation and interaction, aiming to encourage their commitment to attending electronic sessions and engaging with teachers, and to ensure active participation during classes, which positively impacts academic achievement and the quality of educational outcomes.
According to the approved schedules, the subjects assigned for general education students are as follows:

Primary Stage:
- First Grade: Science
- Second Grade: National Education
- Third Grade: Arabic Language
- Fourth Grade: Mathematics
- Fifth Grade: English Language
Intermediate Stage:
- Sixth Grade: Islamic Education
- Seventh Grade: Social Studies
