Zain's HQ kicks off promotional tour for Saudi Super Cup in Kuwait

Coinciding with preparations for Kuwait to host the 13th edition of the Saudi Super Cup, Zain’s headquarters in Shuwaikh hosted the original trophy of the competition, marking the first stop of its promotional tour in Kuwait ahead of the highly anticipated matches scheduled for December next year.

This hosting event is part of Zain’s official partnership in sponsoring the tournament and reflects its commitment to contributing to the fan atmosphere surrounding this major sporting event, which the country is hosting for the first time in the history of the competition. The company’s headquarters displayed the trophy in a move aimed at enhancing engagement with the event and building excitement ahead of the matches, which are expected to attract widespread interest from football fans in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the wider region. Employees of Zain and their families were given the opportunity to take commemorative photos with the trophy.

This partnership follows the announcement of an agreement signed between the Saudi Football Federation, represented by its exclusive commercial partner SMC Vibes, and a consortium comprising Al Rai Media Group and Aayan for Leasing and Investment from Kuwait, making the consortium an official partner in hosting the Saudi Super Cup in Kuwait.

The matches of the 2026-2027 Saudi Super Cup are scheduled to take place from December 19 to 23, 2026, at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, featuring four Saudi clubs: Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, Al-Qadsiah, and Al-Khaleej, competing for the title of the 13th edition of the tournament.

Kuwait marks the eighth stop in the journey of the Saudi Super Cup, which has previously been held in several cities within the Kingdom and abroad, including London, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong, before making its debut in Kuwait this year.

Through its partnership in this tournament, Zain continues to support the most prominent sporting events hosted in Kuwait, building on its previous participation in major championships such as Zain Gulf Cup 26, the French Super Cup, and the Zain Premier League, reflecting its ongoing commitment to supporting sports and enhancing Kuwait’s status as a destination for hosting regional and international sporting events.
