Alaa Khalifa: An educational source, in an exclusive statement to “Al-Anbaa,” expressed expectations that the appointment procedures for male and female graduates of the College of Education and the College of Basic Education, who had previously been nominated for work at the Ministry of Education, will be completed within the next two days. The source clarified that these graduates are expected to be contacted directly to finalize the required procedures, paving the way for determining their appointment tracks based on actual needs and required specializations.
The source explained that the recent announcement pertains to graduates of non-educational colleges, including engineering, law, administrative sciences, and others, who wish to join the teaching corps. They will be given the opportunity to apply, and those accepted will enroll in the prescribed training course, with a view to working as trainee teachers upon its completion.
He added that the procedures for completing the appointments of graduates from educational colleges who had previously been nominated to the Ministry will be determined according to the actual needs of schools and the required specializations. He noted the possibility of assigning some nominees in specializations with no teaching demand to administrative or coordinator positions, depending on available vacancies.
The source stressed that appointments will not be directly to a teacher position, but rather according to the track determined by the Ministry, whether as a trainee teacher after completing the training course, or in an administrative or coordinator role, based on approved needs.
He pointed out that the Ministry aims to complete the procedures during the current week, with the training course expected to begin on October 25, although it may be postponed by a few days depending on final arrangements.
