First Deputy PM Discusses Common Issues with Vice Admiral, Commander of US Naval Central Command

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, received Vice Admiral Kurt A. Rishau, Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, the Fifth Fleet, and the Combined Maritime Forces, during his visit to the State of Kuwait.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the meeting discussed areas of cooperation and coordination between Kuwait and the friendly United States of America, as well as ways to enhance them, alongside reviewing topics of mutual interest. It clarified that the meeting takes place within the framework of the close relations between the two friendly countries and underscores the commitment to continuing the exchange of expertise in a manner that serves shared interests and contributes to supporting security and stability in the region.
