Minister of Social Affairs Receives Ministry Players Participating in Ministerial League

Tareq Araabi: The Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, met with the administrative and technical staff, as well as the male and female players participating in the tournament of ministries, institutions, and government entities, to encourage and motivate them, foster a spirit of competition, and enhance the ministry’s representation at sporting events.

Al-Huwail emphasized that this participation marks the first time the ministry has taken part in such a large number of sports disciplines, with 50 male and female athletes competing in seven sports, and she praised the participants’ enthusiasm and their commitment to representing the ministry with distinction.

She clarified that a committee for sports activities has been formed to oversee the affairs of the athletes, provide necessary requirements, remove obstacles, and facilitate all procedures related to their participation.

The minister stressed the importance of supporting sports activities and strengthening team spirit among the ministry’s employees, affirming that sports contribute to consolidating values of cooperation, belonging, and positive competition.

Al-Huwail concluded the meeting by wishing all participants success, achievement, and distinguished results that reflect the standing of the Ministry of Social Affairs in government sporting competitions.
