As part of ongoing security efforts to enhance safety and apprehend violators, a security campaign was carried out in coordination with the General Fireforce and the Kuwait Municipality, under the supervision of Major General Faisal Muassid Al-Rabaih, Director General of Security for Al-Farwaniya Governorate, and Major General Yousif Fahad Al-Sawla, Assistant Director General of Security for the governorate. The campaign yielded the following results:
* Issuance of 40 diverse traffic violations
* Detention of 47 wanted individuals and 10 persons violating residency laws, along with the impoundment of 3 abandoned vehicles, one vehicle violating traffic regulations, and one individual in possession of alcohol.
The General Fireforce’s operations resulted in the issuance of 78 violation notices, administrative closure of 47 establishments, and the delivery of 23 closure warnings.
Kuwait Municipality’s efforts led to the identification of 62 cases requiring shop licensing, placement of 25 notices on vehicles, detection of 18 cases of non-compliance with area regulations, and 15 cases requiring removal of stored items. Additionally, 10 abandoned vehicles were removed, and 6 cases requiring the removal of temporary structures were identified.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the total number of seizures, violations, and actions taken during the campaign reached 386, including 58 security seizures, 44 traffic seizures and violations, and 284 actions and violations by participating entities.
