In a statement, the Ministry of Petroleum clarified that it has not issued any advertisements concerning available job openings through any of its official pages or platforms. It emphasized that the use of the ministry’s name in publishing such advertisements does not lend them any credibility.
The ministry called on citizens not to fall prey to these advertisements or engage with the entities and individuals behind their publication. It warned against sharing any personal data or documents, or transferring any funds under any pretext, in exchange for applying for the alleged jobs, in order to avoid becoming victims of fraud and scams.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources stressed that exploiting its name to publish false recruitment advertisements and mislead citizens will not be tolerated. It affirmed that all necessary legal measures will be taken against those responsible for publishing these advertisements and impersonating the ministry, in coordination with relevant authorities.
The ministry urged citizens to exercise caution and refrain from circulating or reposting these advertisements, emphasizing the importance of relying solely on information issued through the ministry’s official channels and disregarding any recruitment advertisements of unknown origin.
