Boubyan Bank concluded its participation in the fifth edition of the “My Job 2026” exhibition, Kuwait’s largest employment gathering, held under the patronage and attendance of the Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, from October 15 to 17 at The Arena, with broad participation from private sector companies, universities, and institutions in Kuwait.

This year, the bank’s participation featured a new development in the recruitment experience, allowing applicants to submit their resumes alongside conducting immediate preliminary interviews using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. This marks the first time such an approach has been implemented in Kuwait for talent acquisition, aligning with Boubyan’s broader institutional strategy to integrate modern technologies into the work environment and enhance its operations.

Boubyan’s continued sponsorship and strategic partnership with the “My Job” exhibition reflect its commitment to direct engagement with young national talents, introducing them to career opportunities and professional pathways in the banking sector, amid rapid transformations in the labor market and evolving skill requirements for institutions.

The exhibition also enables young people to closely explore private sector work environments and their requirements, while providing institutions with access to national talent possessing diverse specializations, skills, and aspirations.

Minister Al-Jalahma visited the bank’s booth, where he reviewed Boubyan’s latest advancements in AI-driven recruitment and its role in enhancing the hiring experience and attracting young talent through the use of AI-powered voice technology for applications and immediate job interviews. The visit was attended by Abdullah Al-Majhem, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Private and Personal Banking, and Bashar Al-Dub, General Manager of Retail Banking Branches.

On this occasion, Khaled Al-Rahmani, Assistant General Manager of the Human Resources Group at Boubyan Bank, said, “We continuously strive to strengthen our presence at events targeting graduates and young national talents, and to introduce them to the opportunities available to them. We believe that investing in their capabilities is a fundamental aspect of our corporate social responsibility and our commitment to supporting them in building their professional futures.” He added that keeping pace with transformations in the banking sector requires attracting diverse talent with varied specializations, experiences, and capabilities, who are ready to learn and grow.

This system includes skills related to modern technologies and artificial intelligence, alongside professional expertise and capabilities that contribute to business development and enhanced performance efficiency.

For his part, Fawaz Al-Ajil, Talent Acquisition Specialist at the bank, stated that the transition to an AI-enabled banking institution is based on the integration of technology, empowerment of human resources and processes, and linking technological solutions to clear opportunities for business development. From this perspective, Boubyan is committed to deploying modern technologies within an institutional environment that supports their effective and responsible use, while giving employees a key role in business development and leveraging their potential.
