The Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Child Development, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, issued a decision regarding the extension of the interim board of directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society. The decision, published in the Official Gazette “Kuwait Al-Yawm” under No. 336 of 2026, stipulates the following:
Article (1): The interim board of directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society is extended for a period of one year, renewable, chaired by Khaled Mohammed Sulaiman Mohammed Al-Mughams, with the membership of the following individuals:
1. Dr. Nasser Faisal Al-Tanakk
2. Youssef Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Zubn
3. Saud Abdulrahman Saud Al-Mikhaizim
4. Saud Abdullah Abdullah Faiz Al-Dabous
5. Dr. Latifa Khaled Jasem Al-Meer
Article (2): The interim board of directors shall assume all competencies and authorities of the board of directors as stipulated in Law No. 24 of 1962, referenced above, and the society’s statutes.
Article (3): The interim board of directors shall verify the existence of any violations and take the necessary measures regarding them, ensuring the preservation of the society’s funds.
Article (4): This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall take effect from the date of its issuance.
