“Beautiful Life,” and it provides our employees with the opportunity to create a positive and sustainable impact on the lives of the individuals and communities we serve, while contributing to driving innovation and enhancing the competitiveness of Kuwait’s digital economy.
Zain’s participation this year gained special significance, as it coincided with a global achievement by the Zain Group, which topped the telecommunications sector worldwide on Forbes’ Best Employers list for 2026 for the second consecutive year. It ranked 72nd globally across all sectors, joining the list of the world’s top 100 companies as best employers, ranking second in the Middle East and North Africa region, and first in the Kuwaiti market. This international recognition reflects the strength of its corporate culture and the excellence of the work environment it provides to its employees.
This global acknowledgment reinforces Zain’s position as an attractive career destination for skilled professionals and talents. Notably, the Forbes ranking is primarily based on employees’ own opinions and their actual assessments of their employers, including the work environment, training opportunities, professional development prospects, satisfaction levels, and employee engagement. This underscores the importance of sustained investment in the employee experience as one of the key drivers of performance and competitiveness.
This status aligns with the company’s strategic direction, which places human capital development, innovation, and digital transformation at the core of its growth priorities. This approach is rooted in the firm conviction that the future of the technology sector is not shaped by infrastructure and technical solutions alone, but is led by the minds and talents capable of developing these technologies and leveraging them to create sustainable economic and social value.
During the exhibition, Zain highlighted the opportunities it offers to national cadres in rapidly growing technological fields, foremost among them artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, and digital innovation. It also emphasized its focus on developing the professional and leadership skills that young people need to succeed in evolving work environments.
The company showcased to visitors of its pavilion its efforts to attract and qualify young national talents through a range of initiatives and training programs targeting recent graduates and university students. These programs provide opportunities to gain practical experience, hone professional and leadership skills, and explore promising career fields, thereby enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market and keep pace with its changing demands.
Zain’s interest in talent development extends beyond recruitment and hiring, through continuous investment in developing its employees’ capabilities, providing learning and career advancement opportunities, and fostering a corporate culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. This enhances the employee experience and empowers them to achieve their professional aspirations while contributing to the company’s long-term growth and competitiveness.
Through these efforts, Zain continues to reinforce a work environment based on inclusivity, equal opportunity, and talent empowerment, aligning with the aspirations of new generations for career paths that combine personal development with the ability to make a positive impact. This strengthens its capacity to attract and retain national talents amid increasing competition for specialized skills.
Zain’s participation in “Wazifati” underscores the importance of partnership between the private sector, educational institutions, and national job platforms in bridging the gap between educational outcomes and labor market needs, and providing broader opportunities for young people to explore their professional potential. This supports the preparation of a qualified national generation capable of actively participating in the digital transformation process and enhancing the competitiveness of the Kuwaiti economy.
