Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation is participating in the “My Job 2026” exhibition, which launched last Thursday at the Arena – Grand Hyatt Kuwait, and will run until October 17. The event aims to strengthen engagement with Kuwaiti youth and raise awareness of the center’s role in preparing national talent and developing their skills to meet the needs of the labor market in technology sectors.
Held for its fifth edition, the exhibition is under the patronage and opening of Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Manpower. It is expected to feature more than 120 companies from 14 vital sectors, alongside attendance exceeding 40,000 young men and women, providing a platform for direct interaction between job seekers and private sector institutions.
Saudi Al-Anzi, Chief Executive Officer of the Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation, stated that the center’s participation extends its efforts to empower Kuwaiti youth, discover promising talents, and provide opportunities for them to acquire the skills and experience needed to enter the labor market with confidence and competence.
Al-Anzi added that investing in young talent is one of the central pillars of the center’s mission, emphasizing the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, particularly amid rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, software development, and cybersecurity. He noted the center’s commitment to building partnerships with specialized institutions to implement training programs that help prepare a generation capable of innovation and contributing to the development of the digital economy.
For his part, Adbi Al-Mutairi, Technical Director at the Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation, said the center is keen on attracting young talents who possess passion and readiness to learn and develop in technical fields. He pointed out that capacity building is not limited to acquiring technical skills, but also includes problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and the capacity to transform ideas into practical solutions.
Al-Mutairi clarified that the training programs implemented by the center enable participants to engage in hands-on experiences and learn about the stages of developing technical projects, helping them discover their capabilities and define their career paths.
The center’s presence at the exhibition follows a series of training initiatives carried out in collaboration with youth organizations, including “Loyak” last August, and “Achieve Kuwait,” which recently concluded an intensive five-week training program with 12 participants. These efforts reflect a broader strategy aimed at expanding practical training opportunities and preparing youth for labor market requirements.
