US President Confirms Possibility of Resuming Military Operations Against Iran

US President Donald Trump indicated the possibility of resuming military operations against Iran and expanding targets against its nuclear facilities, while simultaneously ruling out the deployment of US ground troops.

In an interview with the US Newsmax network on Thursday evening, Trump said the United States could launch another strike against Iranian nuclear installations, including the heavily fortified Parchin site, amid reports that the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) is considering using the so-called “Mother of All Bombs” in potential strikes.

He added, “We are now assessing the situation at Parchin. We may have to go there to destroy it as quickly as required,” emphasizing that the United States would not use nuclear weapons against Iran and “does not need to.”

When asked about reports that he was considering using the “Mother of All Bombs,” Trump said, “Well, that weapon is not nuclear. It is a very large bomb, but it is not nuclear,” declining to disclose whether he had authorized its use against Iran.

The US president expressed confidence that the conflict would end soon, “whether through negotiations or other means,” and that oil and fuel prices would drop sharply.

He stated in this regard, “In one way or another, this war will end. As you know, they are negotiating with us now.” When asked whether potential US military operations would involve the deployment of US ground forces, Trump replied, “I don’t see that.”
