232 Violators, Wanted Individuals, Gamblers, and Spoiled Meat Seized in Capital Security Campaign

The Directorates of Security Affairs sector, represented by the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, carried out a broad security campaign within the governorate in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition to enhance security presence, apprehend wanted individuals and violators, and enforce the law.
The campaign resulted in issuing 454 traffic violations, apprehending 111 wanted persons, 104 individuals violating residency and labor laws, 32 vehicles wanted by the judiciary, four individuals in possession of intoxicants, four individuals engaged in gambling, four casual laborers, two individuals in possession of narcotics, and two street vendors.
In a statement, the directorate added that during the campaign, 51 abandoned vehicles were removed in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality. The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition issued three violation reports against a store for selling spoiled meat and two violations for parking in designated spaces for persons with disabilities. Additionally, one vehicle was seized for a traffic violation, and one individual was detained by the Traffic Department. The total number of security and traffic measures taken during the campaign amounted to 775.
It was confirmed that the necessary legal procedures were taken against the apprehended individuals and violators by the relevant authorities, each according to its jurisdiction.
