'Fake Doctor' at Al-Jahra Hospital; Defendant Claims: 'I Was Joking!'

Abdullah Qanais: Security personnel at the Al-Jahra Hospital checkpoint referred an illegal resident to the Al-Nuaim police station after he falsely claimed to be a doctor in front of the nursing staff. A security source said a report was received regarding the incident, prompting security officers to go to the lounge where the suspect was located. Upon verifying his identity, it was found that he was born in 1983, was residing in the country illegally, and was not employed by the Ministry of Health or any medical facility. The source added that when questioned about why he claimed to be a doctor, the suspect justified his actions by saying he was merely joking.
