The Yemeni Ministry of Information announced that Prime Minister Dr. Shaeib al-Zandani and government members are safe following a missile attack on the Maashiq Palace in the temporary capital, Aden, by Houthi militia forces. The ministry stated in a press release that the attack resulted in the deaths of two of the prime minister’s escorts.
For his part, the Yemeni Minister of Youth confirmed to Al Arabiya channel that all government members in Aden are safe. He noted that the Houthi militia targeted Maashiq Palace with four missiles and a drone, resulting in the deaths of two guards and injuries to six others. The minister emphasized that the government will remain in Aden, will not leave, and will continue its work, adding that the “Yemen Dawn” operation is ongoing.
