The official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that its units have expanded their offensive operations across various fronts and combat axes within the framework of Operation “Yemen’s Dawn,” carrying out 2,309 precise and direct strike operations using combat aircraft, drones, field artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units.

In an official statement, he noted that enemy defense formations were dismantled, firing sources silenced, command and control centers paralyzed, forward positions isolated, and troop concentrations, reserves, and supply lines struck, thereby creating conditions for breaching fortifications, expanding the scope of the breakthrough, and advancing.

He pointed out that approximately 1,250 members of the terrorist Houthi militia were neutralized, and more than 460 military vehicles, armored cars, and other military equipment were destroyed or damaged.

In Taiz, the spokesperson confirmed the continuation of concentrated aerial strikes and well-planned ambushes, which crushed militia convoys and reinforcements, depleted their capabilities, and thwarted their attempts to compensate for their losses and reorganize their forces.

He called on residents in areas under militia control to protect their children from recruitment campaigns and from being dragged into its battles, and to stay away from military sites, gatherings, and combat zones. He emphasized that “the door to safe return and the amnesty announced by President Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, remains open to anyone who lays down their arms, ceases fighting, and returns to their family and homeland.”

The spokesperson accused the terrorist Houthi militia of continuing to target civilian infrastructure and residential neighborhoods in Taiz, a behavior that reflects its disregard for civilian lives and its indifference to international laws and norms, as well as its attempts to shift the consequences of its military losses onto citizens and their homes.
