Commercial Real Estate Organizes Second Edition of 'Ishraqat Amal' Art Exhibition to Empower and Integrate People with Disabilities

In line with its firm commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to supporting talents and empowering persons with disabilities by providing them with opportunities to express their talents and creativity, Al-Sharika Al-Tijariya Al-Aqariya is organizing the second edition of the “Ishraqat Amal” (Glimmers of Hope) art exhibition, under the gracious patronage of Sheikh Sheikha Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah, Honorary President of the Kuwait Sports Club for Persons with Disabilities. The event will take place at Symphony Complex – The Basement, in Salmiya, on the 19th and 20th of this month, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with participation from individuals and institutions dedicated to supporting, empowering, and enabling persons with disabilities.

The organization of the second edition follows the success achieved by the first edition last year, reflecting the company’s commitment to continuing the development of its community initiatives and creating supportive spaces for talents, enhancing equal opportunities, and reinforcing the concept of inclusivity in society, thereby enabling everyone to participate and create.

The “Ishraqat Amal” exhibition serves as an artistic and community platform that allows participants to showcase their creativity and engage with the public, alongside exhibiting and selling their artistic works, which supports their independence and strengthens their presence and active participation in society. The exhibition also highlights the role of art in expressing capabilities and aspirations, and showcases the talents and creative potential of persons with disabilities.

The exhibition receives support and patronage from several companies and entities, namely: Al-Salmiya Group for Project Development, United Entertainment and Tourism Company, Al-Mutajarra Real Estate Company, Kuwait Parks Company, Kuwait Commercial Markets Complexes Company, Arzan Financial Group for Financing and Investment, Kuwait Real Estate Company, Industrial and Financial Investments Company, Fun Zone Company, and Symphony Style Salmiya Hotel. These partnerships reflect the commitment of participating entities to support the artistic talents of persons with disabilities, enable them to showcase their creativity, and enhance collaboration in purposeful community initiatives.

In the context of enhancing community participation, the exhibition is organized with the involvement of volunteers from the Integrated Care Foundation for Persons with Disabilities, underscoring the importance of cooperation and integration among various entities and individuals in supporting community initiatives and enabling persons with disabilities to participate effectively.

This initiative falls within Al-Sharika Al-Tijariya Al-Aqariya’s efforts to consolidate social sustainability and enhance corporate social responsibility practices, in alignment with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, particularly the social pillar, which focuses on inclusion, equal opportunities, and empowering different segments of society.
