Under the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Security Control Department, apprehended an individual who had written on the wall of a school in the Ali Al-Salim Al-Sabah area, as part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to protect public property and follow up on reports received.

The Ministry of Interior stated that the suspect was apprehended after a complaint was filed via the dedicated traffic complaints number on the WhatsApp application, accompanied by a video recording documenting the act of writing on the school wall. It noted that investigative efforts led to identifying and arresting the suspect, who confessed to the incident during questioning. He was then referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal actions against him.

The Ministry added that, following the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister, the suspect’s relatives were summoned and ordered to repair the damage. With their participation, the graffiti was removed and the wall was repainted to restore it to its original condition.

The Ministry emphasized the importance of preserving public facilities and property, warning against tampering with or damaging them, and stressed that legal measures would be taken against anyone who violates them. It called on everyone to report such practices through official channels.
