Video: Interior Ministry opens new-look Nationality Hall

The Assistant Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, inaugurated yesterday the newly renovated nationality hall at the main building of the General Directorate of Kuwaiti Nationality and Passports in the Shuwaikh area, under the patronage of Kuwait Finance House, as part of the ministry’s efforts to develop its service facilities and enhance the level of services provided to visitors.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Support Security Affairs, Major General Fawaz Al-Roumi, attended the inauguration.

Major General Al-Wahab toured the hall’s facilities and equipment and listened to a briefing from the Director General of the General Directorate of Kuwaiti Nationality and Passports, Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al-Othman, on the procedures for receiving visitors, organizing the flow of transactions, and the steps followed to deliver services.

The hall’s operational mechanism aims to reduce waiting times and provide a more organized and efficient service environment, thereby contributing to the faster processing of visitors’ transactions.

Al-Wahab emphasized the importance of continuing to develop the work system and leveraging available resources to simplify procedures, ensuring the speed, accuracy, and ease of access to services for visitors.
