The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the continuation of their operations against the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia, within the operational theater of the Seventh Military Region on fronts in northern Marib Governorate, as part of Operation “Yemen’s Dawn.” In a statement published on its X platform, the forces said: “Our armed forces are engaged in direct and continuous battles with the rebel and terrorist militias, destroying their capabilities through painful strikes carried out by combat aviation, unmanned aerial systems, artillery, and rocket launchers.”

It added that, as part of the offensive actions of Operation “Yemen’s Dawn,” the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 1,879 precise and direct targeting operations against legitimate military objectives belonging to the terrorist militia, using combat aircraft, unmanned aerial systems, field artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units. The operations targeted the enemy’s combat system, including fortifications and defensive positions, command and control centers, artillery and rocket launcher emplacements, observation and reconnaissance points, assembly and reinforcement areas, weapons and ammunition depots, and vehicles and transport and supply logistics.

It noted that air strikes in Taiz crushed militia reinforcements and columns deployed to the fronts, disrupted their gatherings, and thwarted their attempts to reinforce their positions and reorganize their forces.

According to preliminary estimates, the operations neutralized approximately 950 militia fighters and destroyed or damaged 380 military vehicles, cars, and equipment, in addition to silencing enemy fire sources and disrupting the command, control, and supply system, according to the Armed Forces’ statement. It added that military engineering units continued to clear and secure recovered sites and areas from mines and explosive devices, ensuring safety for troops and the return of civilians.
