An awareness session was held to complete the fourth phase of the project aimed at integrating Google for Education artificial intelligence tools in selected middle schools. The event was held under the patronage of Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, Eng. Hamad Al-Hamad, and was attended by Mohammed Al-Otaibi, Director of the General Directorate of Technical Guidance, Research, and Curricula. The session aimed to introduce the project and its implementation mechanisms, and to highlight its role in developing the educational process and enhancing digital transformation in schools.

The project aims to empower teachers in the State of Kuwait to utilize educational artificial intelligence tools, thereby contributing to the development of teaching practices and improving the quality of education and learning. It also seeks to enhance their capacity to leverage modern technologies in designing innovative lessons and educational activities. The project targets the training of more than 40,000 male and female teachers.

The implementation mechanism involves training computer science teachers, as well as teachers from other academic departments within the same school, while working to localize the use of digital tools and fully train the educational staff in the targeted schools. This approach ensures expanding the scope of benefiting from artificial intelligence tools within the school environment.

The project focuses on enhancing teachers’ proficiency in using artificial intelligence applications in education, supporting them in designing innovative lessons and educational activities, and promoting the use of Google for Education tools within the classroom environment. Additionally, it aims to foster a culture of safe, responsible, and ethical use of artificial intelligence, and to standardize the level of digital competency among teachers across the country.
