The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued terrorist and criminal attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a fraternal nation. In a statement, the Ministry referred to the latest of these attacks, which targeted King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, and King Fahd International Airport in the city of Dammam on Sunday. The attack on King Khalid International Airport resulted in the death of one resident and injuries to others, as well as material damage, in a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

It reaffirmed the State of Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support alongside the Kingdom in all measures it takes to protect its security and stability and safeguard its sovereignty, stressing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
