Foreign Minister discusses ways to develop joint Arab work and Arab League mechanisms

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber received Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy, along with the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to the State of Kuwait. The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint Arab cooperation and the operational mechanisms of the Arab League, in order to strengthen its role in serving Arab issues and addressing current challenges, while aligning with the aspirations of Arab peoples for security, stability, and development. The two sides also reviewed recent developments in the region and the efforts being made in response, emphasizing the importance of continuing consultations and coordinating positions to address regional crises, thereby safeguarding the security, sovereignty, and interests of Arab states and their peoples. Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber hosted a luncheon in honor of Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Ismail Fahmy and the accompanying delegation.
