Prime Minister discusses regional and international developments and ways to enhance Arab solidarity and cooperation with Arab League Secretary-General

His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, received H.E. Ambassador Nabil Ismail Fahmy, Secretary-General of the Arab League, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in regional and international affairs, as well as ways to enhance Arab solidarity and cooperation. His Highness expressed his best wishes for the Secretary-General’s success and progress in continuing the path of joint Arab action.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Khaled Mohammed Al-Khaled, Acting Head of the Prime Minister’s Diwan; Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Adwani, Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs; and Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Talal Khaled Al-Mutairi.

In a separate development, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, sent a congratulatory message to King Felipe VI of the Kingdom of Spain on the occasion of Spain’s National Day.

His Highness also sent a congratulatory message to President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day.
