The Yemeni Cabinet affirmed that the “Fajr Yemen” operation is proceeding until its objectives are fully achieved and the remaining territories are liberated. The Cabinet appreciated the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in its leadership, government, and people, as well as the role of the Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy in backing the “Fajr Yemen” operations. It stressed that the two countries constitute a unified security system and share a common destiny in confronting a cross-border threat represented by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, and that their security is indivisible.
This came during a Cabinet meeting held yesterday in the temporary capital of Aden, chaired by Prime Minister Shuaib Mohsen al-Zindani, which heard a briefing from the Minister of Defense on field developments, readiness levels, and the necessary requirements to continue operations. The Cabinet expressed its full support for the operation and pledged to mobilize all state resources to back it.
The Cabinet emphasized that any temporary complications on certain fronts are inherent to warfare and will not undermine the steadfastness of the national objective. It reiterated that the operation will continue until the goals of “Fajr Yemen” are fully achieved, the remaining territories are liberated, and the capital, Sanaa, is reached.
It stressed that the battle is a comprehensive existential national struggle that requires political, economic, security, humanitarian, and media readiness, and that the government will deploy all state institutions to support the fronts, protect civilians, and strengthen societal resilience.
The Cabinet affirmed that the militia’s crimes against civilians, particularly in Taiz Governorate, will not be subject to statutes of limitations, and that those responsible will not escape punishment.
Conversely, it reaffirmed that the door to returning to the national fold remains open for those misled, under the general amnesty announced by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and called on citizens in areas controlled by the militia to refuse to send their children as fodder for futile battles that serve an Iranian agenda that seeks neither security, stability, nor a state for Yemen.
