Governors: Integration in responsibility performance and support for institutional development in governorates

The governors of the country’s governorates met yesterday to explore ways of unifying efforts and exchanging expertise to enhance integration in the performance of responsibilities and support the development of institutional work in the governorates. This came in a statement issued by the Farwaniya Governorate following the reception by Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Adbi Nasser Adbi of the acting Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Hawalli, Sheikh Sabah Badr Al-Sabah, as well as Al-Jahra Governor Hamad Al-Hubashi and Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad, during which they held a meeting to strengthen governmental cooperation and develop mechanisms for joint work.

Sheikh Adbi Al-Nasser emphasized, according to the statement, the importance of consolidating a collaborative approach among governorates and enhancing continuous communication and coordination, which contributes to unifying efforts and improving performance efficiency. He noted that the integration of roles and the exchange of expertise are among the fundamental elements in developing governmental work and responding to service and developmental needs.

The statement mentioned that several topics of common interest were discussed, along with ways to enhance coordination among governorates, develop communication channels, and integrate roles in following up on service and developmental files, as well as exchanging views and experiences regarding mechanisms to elevate performance and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents.

The meeting comes in the context of keenness to strengthen cooperation among governorates and activate institutional coordination to support governmental performance efficiency and contribute to achieving developmental goals and serving the nation, its citizens, and residents.

Attending the meeting were the Director General of the General Administration of Governorate Affairs, Sheikh Nasser Mohammed Jaraah Al-Sabah, his assistant, Colonel Eng. Yousef Al-Kharif, and the Director of the Capital Governor’s Office, Colonel Salah Al-Muhaini.
