Disciplinary Council for Faculty Members at the Applied Science University

Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, issued a decision regarding the formation of a disciplinary council for faculty members at the Authority’s colleges for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The decision stipulates that Dr. Hanaa Al-Majid, Professor at the College of Health Sciences, shall serve as chairperson of the council, with membership comprising Dr. Walid Al-Rifai, Assistant Professor at the College of Technological Studies; Dr. Dalal Al-Sharhan, Assistant Professor at the College of Basic Education; Dr. Abdullah Al-Fahid, Assistant Professor at the College of Basic Education; and Dr. Fawaz Al-Awadi, Assistant Professor in the Law Department at the College of Business Studies.

The decision provides that the council shall exercise the competencies and duties assigned to it in accordance with Decision No. (2493/2024) and its amendments concerning the administrative accountability regulations for faculty and training staff of the Authority.

According to the decision, the council’s meetings shall be held during official working hours or outside them, and its composition shall remain in effect for one academic year.
