"Coalition": Attack on King Khalid International Airport rises to the level of a war crime; will be met with firm response

The official spokesperson for the coalition forces, the “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the cowardly terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia on Saturday against one of the passenger terminals at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, and the resulting civilian casualties and injuries among travelers and airport staff, constitutes a full-fledged war crime under international humanitarian law and its customary rules. Al-Maliki added in a press statement that the attack was “a heinous act that contradicts principles, values, and ethics.” He clarified that “the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will respond to this terrorist attack decisively, in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.”
