Minister of Public Works: Monitoring road maintenance and ensuring completion according to specifications and timelines

Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan confirmed the continuation of field visits to road maintenance sites across various governorates to monitor progress and ensure that work is carried out and completed in accordance with approved standards and the specified timeline. This statement came during a press interview following her inspection of ongoing maintenance works in the Al-Nuaim area in the Al-Jahra Governorate, as part of her ongoing field visits, which recently included observing asphalt paving operations in the Al-Fanitees area in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, where she reviewed the progress and stages of implementation.

Minister Al-Mashaan stated that the maintenance works in Al-Nuaim are part of the Ministry’s plan to maintain roads across all regions of the country, aiming to enhance the efficiency of the road network and strengthen the safety of its users. She emphasized that engineering teams continue to monitor works on-site at all locations until their completion, adding that “field supervision is ongoing in all governorates, and the quality of implementation and adherence to schedules are non-negotiable standards.”
