Sharjah Book Authority Reveals Details of the 45th Sharjah International Book Fair and 16th Publishers Conference on the 13th

The Sharjah Book Authority will hold a press conference on Tuesday, October 13, at 10:30 a.m. at its headquarters to announce the details of the 45th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair and the 16th edition of the Publishers Conference.
The conference will be attended by Ahmed Al Ameri, CEO of the Sharjah Book Authority; Khawla Al Majaini, General Coordinator of the Sharjah International Book Fair; Mansour Al Hassani, Director of Publishers Services at the Authority; and Ahmed Al Rawahi, Assistant Director General for Knowledge and Cultural Development at the Omani Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, who represents the Sultanate of Oman as the fair’s guest of honor. Representatives from the Sharjah Media Corporation, the official media partner, and the Etisalat Group, the official partner, will also attend.
The press conference will unveil the list of the fair’s guests and its event agenda, which this year celebrates the Sultanate of Oman as the guest of honor for the current edition. It will also present the children’s events program, the social media hub, the cooking corner, as well as the Libraries Conference, the Translation Grant, and the 2026 Sharjah International Book Fair Awards.
Furthermore, the conference will highlight the publishing houses participating in the fair and the Publishers Conference, which examines the current state of the publishing industry and the key challenges it faces, while showcasing practical solutions through a series of seminars and workshops that allow participants to benefit from the expertise of specialists and professionals in the sector.
The Sharjah Book Authority invites authors, publishers, media representatives, and officials from cultural and media institutions to attend the press conference, which offers them the opportunity to learn about the latest developments regarding the fair and the conference.
