Pakistan and Bahrain Emphasize Importance of Dialogue and Diplomacy in Resolving Conflicts

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, held talks yesterday with Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani on bilateral relations and regional and international developments of mutual interest.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry stated in a press release that the two ministers reviewed bilateral ties during a meeting held at its headquarters in Islamabad, expressing their satisfaction with the positive momentum in high-level communications between the two countries.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, economy, and investment, while emphasizing the need to strengthen coordination in international forums.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said that the two sides also discussed regional and international developments, reaffirming the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges.

The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, energy, agriculture, food security, information technology, health, education, and labor. The Pakistani side stressed the importance of translating fraternal relations into tangible benefits for the peoples of both countries and implementing the outcomes of the joint committee.

The meeting was attended by high-level delegations from both sides, including Bahraini officials and representatives from the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
