Sixth round of political consultations between Kuwait and Spain addresses common issues and regional and international developments

The Kuwaiti and Spanish ministries of foreign affairs held the sixth round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain in the Spanish capital, Madrid. In a statement yesterday, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said that Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan led the Kuwaiti delegation, while Spanish State Minister for Foreign and Global Affairs Diego Martínez Peláez led the Spanish side. The statement clarified that the consultations addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, alongside exploring ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries across various fields and to broaden their horizons, as well as discussing the latest developments on the regional and international fronts. According to the statement, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and joint cooperation and exchanging views on various issues in a manner that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
