Minister of 'Social Affairs' Inspects 'Disabled Affairs' Building: Expedite Beneficiaries' Transactions

Dr. Amthal Al-Hawila, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, conducted an inspection visit to the headquarters of the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities in the Hawalli area to follow up on recent developments and address the key issues and challenges facing the Authority’s various sectors.

During a meeting with the Authority’s senior officials, Dr. Al-Hawila reviewed the progress of operations and procedures across different sectors, emphasizing the need to expedite the processing of cases for persons with disabilities and remove any obstacles that might delay their access to entitled services, while also developing practical and swift solutions to existing concerns and challenges.

She stressed the urgency of accelerating procedures related to prosthetic and assistive devices and ensuring their timely provision to beneficiaries, reaffirming the importance of enhancing performance efficiency and strengthening coordination among the Authority’s sectors to improve the quality and speed of services provided to persons with disabilities.
