Minister of Endowments: Egypt-Kuwait relations a model of solid and enduring cooperation

Cairo - Hanaa El-Sayed: Minister of Endowments Dr. Osama Al-Azhar held talks with Jamal Al-Majdali, Director of the Kuwait Office for Charitable Projects in Cairo, on ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry and the Kuwait Office, as well as the Kuwait Bayt Al-Zakat, in order to support scientific, da’wah, and educational fields of work, and to strengthen the utilization of existing cooperation areas between the two sides. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdullah Hassan, Assistant Minister for Follow-up Affairs, and Mr. Rafiq Al-Qadi, Head of the Central Administration for the Minister’s Office Affairs.
The Egyptian Minister of Endowments praised the role played by the Kuwait Office for Charitable Projects in Cairo, particularly in supporting students studying at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and in participating in organizing camps and educational meetings aimed at foreign students, in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. He emphasized that these efforts reflect the depth of cooperation and integration between Egyptian and Kuwaiti institutions.
Al-Azhar affirmed that relations between Egypt and Kuwait are built on solid foundations and extended historical ties, and that cooperation between the two countries continues across various fields, embodying the depth of Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations and reflecting both sides’ commitment to supporting joint work initiatives.
For his part, the Director of the Kuwait Office for Charitable Projects appreciated the efforts undertaken by the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments in consolidating moderate thought and confronting extremist ideologies. He expressed his appreciation for the support and facilitation provided by the Ministry to the Kuwait Office for Charitable Projects in Cairo, which helps it carry out its duties and achieve its objectives.
He clarified that cooperation between the Kuwait Office and the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments is based on a shared vision, converging goals, and mutual interests, emphasizing that this cooperation represents a model of joint work in several fields, given the support and attention afforded to Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations by the political leadership in both countries.
