Bahraini Crown Prince: Bahrain-Saudi Relations Moving Toward Greater Partnership and Cooperation Across All Sectors

Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed yesterday that the historic fraternal relations between his country and the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, grounded in solid foundations and close ties, are advancing toward greater partnership and cooperation across all fields.

Bahrain’s BNA news agency reported that this statement was made during a meeting between the Bahraini Crown Prince at the Riffa Palace and Saudi Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasized the commitment to building on the fruitful cooperation and effective partnerships achieved between the two brotherly countries across various sectors, and to further develop areas of cooperation and joint coordination in key industries, particularly energy and manufacturing, in order to create more specialized opportunities that contribute to achieving shared goals and aspirations.

He noted that Bahraini-Saudi relations continue to receive sustained care and attention from Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This support helps further develop cooperation and joint coordination, pushing them toward broader and more distinctive horizons that fulfill the shared aspirations of the two countries and their fraternal peoples.

He praised the progress in joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries, underpinned by the keen interest of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in advancing bilateral relations to higher levels that bring prosperity and development to both brotherly peoples.

He affirmed that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing Bahrain’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to protect its security and sovereignty and to safeguard its citizens and residents.

For his part, the Saudi minister expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Bahraini Crown Prince for his sustained commitment and support to strengthening Bahraini-Saudi relations in all fields, contributing to achieving desired aspirations, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued prosperity and development.

The meeting also discussed ways to consolidate bilateral cooperation across various sectors and addressed issues of mutual interest.
