Prime Minister Discusses with Italian Minister for Business Strengthening Cooperation in Economic, Investment, and Industrial Sectors and Supporting the Business Sector

Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, with the attendance of Oil Minister Tariq Al-Roumi, received Adolfo Urso, Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and “Made in Italy,” and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed areas of cooperation between Kuwait and the friendly Italian Republic and ways to enhance and develop them, particularly in economic, investment, and industrial sectors, as well as supporting the business sector and encouraging innovation to serve the shared interests of the two friendly countries.
Minister Urso expressed his sincere gratitude to Kuwait, represented by Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8), for responding to the Italian government’s call to cap fuel prices, reflecting its deep concern for the economic situation of Italian families.
Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber attended the meeting.
On another note, Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a congratulatory message to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, conveying his sincere congratulations on the 53rd anniversary of the victories of the October 6 War.
