Electricity Ministry: Enhancing Safety Culture and Compliance in Handling Appliances and Water Network

In line with the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy’s commitment to raising awareness and enhancing the cultural understanding among its staff, and to strengthen knowledge of safe and prudent practices in handling electrical devices and the water network, awareness lectures titled “Be Aware” were organized, delivered by Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Qanaei.

The two-day lectures, held at the Training Center for the Electrical Distribution Networks Sector, aimed to familiarize employees with the proper guidelines and procedures to follow when dealing with electrical devices and water network components, thereby contributing to enhanced safety and reducing risks arising from unsafe usage.

The lectures included a set of directives and tips designed to reinforce correct practices in handling electrical and water systems, alongside promoting a culture of energy and resource conservation. These awareness programs contribute to raising staff awareness within the Ministry and strengthening adherence to safety procedures, which positively impacts the work environment and safeguards employees, facilities, and infrastructure.
