Djokovic Wins China Open After De Minaur Withdraws Due to Injury

Serbian star Novak Djokovic claimed the Beijing Open tennis title today, securing his seventh championship in the tournament and his 102nd career title, after defeating Australia’s Alex de Minaur. This victory marked Djokovic’s 34th consecutive win at the event.

De Minaur withdrew from the final due to injury. He left the court to receive medical attention after the first set, with a thick bandage wrapped around his left thigh, but was unable to continue after winning the opening game of the second set. Djokovic edged out the first set 7-6, and the match score stood at 1-0 in his favor when De Minaur retired.
