Trump: War in Iran Will End One Way or Another, Securing 'Hormuz' Spared the World the Worst Disaster

U.S. President Donald Trump said the war with Iran “will end soon, one way or another,” asserting that U.S. military actions have contributed to the destruction of Iranian radar and air defense systems and secured navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump added his remarks during an election rally at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Grand Island, Nebraska, stating that the United States has succeeded in undermining Iran’s military capabilities, and emphasizing that what his country is doing “spares the world the worst catastrophe ever.” On the economic front, the U.S. president described rising prices as “a small cost we incur to keep the world safe,” noting that oil flows to the United States are increasing at an unprecedented rate. He also affirmed that securing the Strait of Hormuz has helped protect global energy supplies and reduced risks to international navigation and trade.
