As part of the partnership and enhancement of cooperation between the public and private sectors, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced the signing of a cooperation protocol for electronic linking with Kuwait International Bank (KIB), to facilitate and directly transfer mortgage and social payments and loans to citizens.

On this occasion, Acting General Manager of Kuwait Finance House Sultan Al-Dabbous stated that signing this agreement is a continuation of the efforts undertaken by KFH to expand its electronic linking network, ensuring comprehensive digital banking coverage and providing the highest levels of flexibility and reliability in serving citizens. It also reflects the executive management’s commitment to delivering more efficient and faster services to the public.

Al-Dabbous further clarified that completing the electronic link with Kuwait International Bank (KIB) marks the final milestone reached by KFH in its project to link with all local banks. The number of banks linked so far has reached nine, listed in order of linkage date as follows: National Bank, Kuwait Finance House, Gulf Bank, Boubyan Bank, Burkan Bank, Warba Bank, National Bank of Kuwait, Commercial Bank, and KIB.

In support of the government’s orientation toward a digital economy and electronic services—which contribute to achieving several key objectives and dimensions, including real-time data synchronization, saving citizens’ time and effort, enhancing security, reducing check-related risks, promoting transparency and accurate transaction tracking, and lowering operational and administrative costs—we extend our gratitude to the participating banks for their cooperation, which was instrumental in completing this project.

Al-Dabbous noted that this step aligns with the bank’s efforts to accelerate digital transformation and develop financial services, reflecting its commitment to providing innovative solutions that prioritize the convenience of Kuwaiti citizens by streamlining procedures. Direct deposits into accounts are now possible without the need for customers to visit the bank to collect checks, while keeping pace with the latest regulatory and security standards in the banking sector.

The agreement was signed at the bank’s headquarters in the South Surra building, in the presence of Fahad Al-Badr, General Manager of Operations at Kuwait International Bank, along with senior executives from Commercial Bank and Kuwait Finance House.
