Nizahat Organizes Field Training Program for Law College Students

Nada Abu Nasr: The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha) organized a field training program for law students at Kuwait University for the fourth year, during the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year, running until December, to enhance legal awareness among youth and link academic learning with practical application. Nazaha stated in a press release that the program includes a series of specialized lectures delivered by experts from various organizational units within the Authority, aiming to familiarize students with Nazaha’s mandate and its role in preventing and combating corruption. It added that the program covers several topics, including the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the mechanism for reviewing its implementation, an introduction to corruption crimes and investigations, evidence collection, related procedures, conditions for filing reports, how to prepare complaint memoranda, monitoring corruption offenses, and protecting whistleblowers. The program also covers the financial integrity system, the law on the right to access information, strategic planning, the professional code of conduct, and corporate governance.
