Ministry of Public Works Continues Maintenance on 13 Roads and 42 Areas

The Ministry of Public Works continues to carry out major maintenance works under new road maintenance contracts, covering 13 main roads and 42 areas across the six governorates, from the 3rd to the 8th of the current month, as part of its efforts to enhance road network efficiency and improve safety levels for users.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Public Works said these works are carried out in light of directives from Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan to intensify monitoring, follow-up, and on-site supervision of road maintenance projects, accelerate completion rates, and adhere to approved technical specifications and quality standards.

It added that the works include several main roads, such as Abdali, Sabiya, King Fahd, King Faisal, the Fourth Ring Road, and the Seventh Ring Road, as well as internal roads and streets in residential areas across various governorates.

The ministry noted that specialized engineering teams continue to monitor the progress and implementation stages on-site to ensure that maintenance works are completed according to approved schedules.

The Ministry of Public Works also stated that it is continuing major maintenance works on the Seventh Ring Road in the direction of Fintas, as part of the Road Engineering Sector’s initiatives aimed at enhancing road efficiency and improving infrastructure standards.
