Justice Minister Attends 36th GCC Justice Ministers' Meeting in Bahrain

Justice Minister and Advisor Nasser Al-Samait participated today, Sunday, in the proceedings of the 36th meeting of His Excellencies and Excellencies the Ministers of Justice of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
The delegation accompanying the Justice Minister included Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Awatef Al-Sand, along with several ministry officials.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation among the justice ministries of GCC member states, as well as a number of shared topics and initiatives aimed at developing the judicial and legal framework, strengthening coordination, and exchanging expertise among member countries.
The meeting also discussed the initiative by the Bahraini Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Endowments to establish an electronic platform for exchanging judicial notices and notifications, as well as the work of the committee of directors and heads of judicial and legal training centers and institutes in GCC countries.
Furthermore, the ministers reviewed the draft unified rules for combating information technology crimes in the GCC countries, and the report of the meetings of the committee of officials in charge of international cooperation and international relations departments in the justice ministries of member states for 2026.
Kuwait’s participation in the meeting came in line with its commitment to enhancing judicial and legal cooperation and integration within the Gulf region, supporting the progress of joint Gulf efforts, and developing their mechanisms to serve the GCC countries and their peoples.
