Borsali: Expanding Cooperation Between Kuwait and UNIDO in Food Security, Supply Chains, and Innovation

Our Ambassador to Austria, Fawaz Al-Bursali, presented his credentials as Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). In a statement to KUNA on Friday, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Vienna reported that Ambassador Al-Bursali, during his meeting with UNIDO Director-General Gerd Müller, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Kuwait and the Organization in areas of shared priority, in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports sustainable industrial development efforts. Al-Bursali stressed the importance of expanding cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two sides in several vital fields, foremost among them food security, supply chains, innovation, and digital transformation, thereby contributing to development and enhancing capacities in these areas.
