Civil Defense: One injured in gas leak explosion in Hawalli

The General Fireforce announced that its personnel managed to control an explosion caused by a gas leak in an apartment in a building in the Hawalli area. The Fireforce stated in a press release that a fire team from the Hawalli Center controlled the explosion incident yesterday morning, which resulted from a gas leak and caused a fire in an apartment in one of the buildings in the Hawalli area. It added: “The fire was fought and brought under control. The incident resulted in one person being injured, and the situation was handled with the injured person handed over to the relevant authorities.”
