The Arab Ministers of Interior Council strongly condemned on Thursday the Houthi militia’s attack on Saudi territory. In a statement, the Council’s General Secretariat expressed its deep condemnation of reports that the terrorist Houthi militia had targeted a facility in Medina that provides electrical services to the Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Medina, Saudi Arabia.
The Secretariat voiced its firm condemnation and absolute denunciation of this cowardly terrorist attack, which constitutes a blatant provocation of Muslim sentiments and a flagrant violation of the sanctity of holy sites, further confirming the militia’s continued aggressive conduct and criminal pattern of deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
The Council reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its unwavering support for the measures the Kingdom is taking to protect Islamic holy sites, safeguard its national assets, and ensure the security, stability, and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
