In a statement to KUNA, Al-Huwail said that the specialized investigation committee had submitted its report and recommendations after reviewing comments and complaints related to the procedures surrounding the test. She clarified that the committee recommended re-administering the test due to technical issues that accompanied its conduct, foremost among them being a power outage. She noted that coordination had been established with the Gulf University for Science and Technology to conduct a new test for all applicants.

Al-Huwail added that the new test would be conducted under clear and published regulations, with questions guaranteed to be linked to the announced academic material and the nature of the positions being tested. She stated that the test would be administered with audio and video monitoring in place, thereby enhancing the integrity of the procedures and ensuring equal opportunity among candidates.

Al-Huwail emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of all parties, commending the cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and the Gulf University for Science and Technology. She pointed out that coordination regarding the necessary arrangements and the test date had been finalized, with details to be announced later.

Meanwhile, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, Family, and Childhood, held talks with Khosrow Nazari, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kuwait, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in social and family affairs.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Social Affairs said the meeting addressed the importance of continuing cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two countries, particularly in the fields of women’s protection, child care, and the integration of persons with disabilities. It also reviewed the key efforts and initiatives undertaken by the relevant authorities in both countries in these areas.

The statement noted that both sides affirmed the depth of relations between Kuwait and the Republic of Tajikistan and the importance of framing their cooperation through memoranda of understanding that would expand collaborative fields and facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two countries.
