Light Rain, Fog, Hot and Humid Weather During the Day, and Mild at Night for the Weekend

The Meteorology Department has forecast that low and medium clouds will dominate the country, leading to scattered light rain showers, occasionally thunderstorm, with chances of fog. Generally, the weather over the weekend will be hot and humid during the day, and warm to mild at night.

The Acting Director of the Department, Dharar Al-Ali, told KUNA that weather maps and numerical models indicate the country will be affected by an extension of a low-pressure system, coinciding with a low-pressure system in the upper atmospheric layers. This will lead to an increase in low and medium clouds accompanied by scattered light rain, which may occasionally be thunderstorm. Winds will be southeasterly, light to moderate in speed, occasionally strengthening, with chances of fog forming in the evening and early morning.

Today’s weather will be hot, partly cloudy, and humid in coastal areas, with southerly to southeasterly winds, light to moderate in speed, occasionally strengthening, ranging between 10 and 40 kilometers per hour. There is a chance of scattered light rain. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 41 and 43 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough.

At night, the weather will be warm to mild, partly cloudy, and humid, especially in coastal areas. Winds will be southeasterly to variable, light to moderate in speed, occasionally strengthening, ranging between 10 and 40 kilometers per hour. There is a chance of scattered rain and fog in some areas. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough, occasionally reaching heights of up to 6 feet.

Tomorrow daytime will be hot, humid, and partly cloudy, with southeasterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, occasionally strengthening. There is a chance of scattered rain, occasionally thunderstorm. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough, occasionally higher.

Al-Ali noted that the weather tomorrow night will be warm to mild and humid, with southeasterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed. There is a chance of fog in some areas. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough.
